Associate Piano Teacher

About Us

Piano Lessons North Phoenix is a premium private piano studio led by conservatory-trained pianist Rory Dowse. Our students have achieved national and international recognition, and demand for lessons now exceeds what one teacher can serve. We're bringing on an associate teacher to lead our new Saturday program — with the opportunity to grow into a larger music academy launching in the area.

The Role

• Teach 30-minute piano lessons to a growing roster of students, primarily beginners and young learners
• Saturday mornings, starting the first week of September
• Lessons take place at our established piano studio in North Phoenix
• Independent contractor position — you bring your own teaching approach and materials, and invoice monthly
• Students, scheduling, and billing with families are all handled for you — you just teach

What We're Looking For

• Degree or diploma in music (ideally with piano as your principal instrument)
• At least 1 year of piano teaching experience
• Warm, patient, and engaging with children and beginners
• Reliable Saturday availability through the school year
• Own general liability insurance, or willing to obtain it (inexpensive through MTNA and similar)
